ABOUT US / OUR TEAM
Rachael de Vries
In a previous life, Rachael was a teacher, proving to students they would, in fact, use math in the real world. Now, as an estimator, she’s the one using it, regularly applying trigonometry to make her bids more accurate. For her, it’s a job where the math becomes real, and she gets to translate a client’s imagination into a buildable plan. When she’s not crunching numbers, you might catch her passing by on her motorcycle.

What do you enjoy most about working at Renfrow+Co?
What is your favorite Renfrow+Co project that you have been a part of?
Greens Road. It’s typically an area people avoid because of crime, but it’s a public space that is currently being beautified. It’s been cool to be part of that effort for projects all over the Houston area. I love getting to see public areas get cleaned up after being in decline for decades. It creates places for people to come together.
What do you wish your clients knew about you?
I was a teacher in my previous life and I’ve been able to transfer many of those skills into my current role as an estimator.
What advice would you give a candidate wanting to join our team?
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I learned how to ride a motorcycle! I broke my shoulder in January of 2023 and got back on it for the first time in December of 2023. When you fall off the horse, you have to get up and get back on.
